Costumer Reviews
Our small office went through quite a few "budget" models (that shall not be named) before we stumbled upon Primo. We were skeptical at first because the price is so low compared to units of comparable feature-set. However, we called Primo directly and they said that they stood behind their product and would guarantee the quality. I can say, after using the product for 3 months that it is fantastic. It looks good, is solidly built, VERY quiet, and has all the features we wanted: cold and hot water, switches to turn the cold and hot water off (saves energy, drip tray etc.
The only "complaint" we might have is that the water isn't ice cold and the hot water isn't boiling hot. However, the water is quite cold and the hot water is hot enough to make herbal tea. Good enough.
I loved my Primo water cooler, until I found out that their bottles are not BPA free. There was no indication on their website, so I called their customer service line and spoke directly with a representative who told me that they were not BPA free. This is especially troubling since the bottles are cleaned and reused, which according to many studies, increases the potential chemicals that can be leeched into the water.
